Those who believe in the Rij’at, in order to prove its feasibility, make a reference to the return of the dead to life among former communities through miracles such as raising the dead by Jesus Christ. They hold that the Rij’at will also occur in Akhir al-Zaman (End of the World) as there are various Qur’anic evidences such as the 55th verse of Surah an-Noor. In this holy verse, God has promised that the saints will ultimately overcome the world and make a government. The present study aims to review the exegetical ideas of Sunni and Shi’ite commentators in the interpretation of this verse and the results show that according to the evidences in the holy verse and the Ahadith, the Rij’at is inferred. © Nowroozi, R;  Qasemipour, M. (2020) A Research about the 55th Verse of Surah an-Noor’s Implications for the Raj’at from the Sunni and Shi’ite Perspective. <em>Biannual Journal of Comparative Exegetical Researches, 6 (11) </em>93-113.  Doi: 10.22091/ptt.2020.4371.1560     رجعت از جمله مسائل مورد اختلاف بین فرق اسلامی است؛ شیعیان با اعتقاد به رجعت، به زنده شدن برخی از مؤمنان و گروهی از کافران بعد از ظهور حضرت مهدی(عج) و قبل از برپایی قیامت باور دارند اما در مقابل، اهل‌سنت منکر رجعت هستند. معتقدان به رجعت در اثبات امکان رجعت، به وقوع آن در امت‌های گذشته به شکل معجزاتی همچون زنده کردن مردگان توسط حضرت عیسی(ع) استناد می‌کنند و برای اثبات وقوع آن در آخرالزمان نیز به دلایل متعددی اتکاء دارند که از مجموعه ادلۀ قرآنی آن می‌توان به آیه 55 سورۀ نور اشاره کرد. در این آیۀ شریفه، خداوند وعدۀ قطعی جانشینی صالحان و حکومت آنها را داده است. در این نوشتار با بررسی دیدگاه فریقین در تفسیر این آیه، روشن می‌شود که بر اساس قرائن موجود در آیۀ شریفه و با تایید روایات ائمه(ع)، این آیه بر رجعت دلالت دارد. © نوروزی، ر؛ قاسم‌پور، م.
