This made Shia scholars to resolve existing doubts and deviations in this regard through presenting Shia standpoint. Ibn Shahr Ashub Mazandarani is one the scholars who has greatly helped to promote invaluable teachings of Islam and the Holy Quran by writing valuable works, thus he has played a significant role in defending genuine beliefs of Shia. Using a descriptive-analytical method, the present paper seeks to analyze his commentary-theological views and his way of confrontation with such groups as Mu'tazilites, Determinists, Attributists, Anthropomorphists, Ash'arites, extremists, Isma'ililtes, Zaidites, Kaysanites and Kharejites through scrutinizing his book "<em>Motashabeh al-Quran and Mokhtalefah</em>". The results show that he has studied and criticized the views of other theological schools with reference to "the judgement of reason, Quranic verses, hadiths, Arabic literature and historical documents". پس از رحلت پیامبر(ص) و با گسترش دامنۀ فتوحات جهان اسلام، نحله‌ها و فرقه‌های فکری و عقیدتیِ جدیدی پدیدار گشت که هر یک از آن‌ها برای اثبات عقاید خود، به آیات قرآن کریم تمسک جسته و به تأویل و تفسیر نادرست آن پرداختند. این مسأله عالمان شیعی را بر آن داشت تا با طرح دیدگاه شیعه، به تصحیح شبهات و انحرافات موجود در این‌باره بپردازند. إبن‌شهرآشوب مازندرانی یکی از عالمانی است که با تألیفات ارزندۀ خود، خدمات شایسته‌ای در جهت اعتلای تعالیم ارزشمند اسلام و قرآن نموده و از این طریق نقش برجسته‌ای در دفاع از عقاید ناب شیعه ایفا کرده است. در این تحقیق که به شیوۀ توصیفی- تحلیلی انجام گرفته، سعی شده است تا با دقت در کتاب «متشابه‌القرآن و مختلفه»، دیدگاه تفسیری- کلامیِ إبن‌شهرآشوب و نیز روش‌های مقابلۀ او با گروه-هایی نظیر «معتزله، مجبره، صفاتیه، مشبّهه، اشاعره، غلات، اسماعیلیه، زیدیه، کیسانیه و خوارج» مورد تحلیل قرار گیرد. بررسی‌ها نشان می‌دهد: وی با استناد به «حکم عقل، آیات قرآن، روایات، ادبیات عرب و مستندات تاریخی» به نقد و بررسی آرای دیگر فِرق کلامی پرداخته است. http://ptt.qom.ac.ir/article_538_8de0e7a26f56f9bc21bd24ad18d7e691.pdf
