The main objective of this study is to explain what it means by darkness of Mu’min and the light of Kafir. Most of commentators have explained the extensions of darkness and light so in this research, their ideas are collected and critically analyzed in six chapters. “Bringing the believers out from darkness into the light” by God confirms an important divine tradition, that is to say guidance and blessing for the believers through their way to salvation. “Darkness of a believer” connotes veils which are created between human and God as a result of ignorance and sin. Considering multiple stages for darkness and light, there are also some special veils for the prophets and saints relevant to their own states. “Taking the disbelievers out of the light into darkness” by the demon connotes the deviation by the Devil, and in this regard, the light of Kafir refers to the innate disposition to Towhid (monotheism) which exists in the nature of all human beings.   <br clear="all" /><br /> تاریخ ارسال: 25/3/98   |   تاریخ پذیرش: 08/06/98 آیة 257 سورة بقره؛ از جمله آیات بحث‌انگیز قرآن است که در آن از «اخراج مؤمنان از ظلمات به نور» و «اخراج کافران از نور به ظلمات» سخن به میان آمده است. مسئله اصلی این پژوهش، چیستی ظلمت مؤمن و نور کافر است. در این راستا، آرای مفسران جمع‌آوری و در شش بخش مورد نقد و ارزیابی قرار گرفته است، اغلب مفسران به مصادیق ظلمت و نور اشاره کرده‌اند. تعبیر «اخراج مؤمنان از ظلمات به نور» توسط خداوند، ناظر بر یک سنت مهم الهی، یعنی هدایت و آمرزش پروردگار در روند سیر تکاملی مؤمنان است و مراد از «ظلمت مؤمن»، حجاب‌هایی است که در اثر جهل و ارتکاب معاصی، میان انسان و خداوند ایجاد می‌شود. با توجه به مراتب فراوان ظلمت و نور، انبیا و صالحان نیز حجاب‌هایی متناسب با مرتبه خود دارند. تعبیر «اخراج کافران از نور به ظلمات» توسط طاغوت نیز کنایه از اضلال شیاطین است و نور کافر اشاره به فطرت توحیدی است که در نهاد همه انسان‌ها وجود دارد.   https://ptt.qom.ac.ir/article_1391_de3fa73f4424e076dc7508d08ae08912.pdf
