The ethics of servitude is one of the most fundamental issues in the Qur'an. From a systematic point of view, the deeper understanding and analyzing the relationship between the moral teachings of the Qur'an can be done. The most important value in the moral teachings of servitude is piety.
In this article, in order to discover and explain the place of piety in the moral system of servitude in Quran, First, the moral system of servitude in the Qur'an -in the form of a cone-shaped structure including basics, principles, and goals- has been discussed. Then, the relationship between piety and the components of this system is explained with emphasizing on the exegeses of the two sects, such as al-Mizan, Mafatih al-Ghaib, al-Manar, fi Zelal, and Kashaf. This paper is written in descriptive, analytical method. The results of these exegeses are very similar.
Piety is essential and prerequisite to Basics Including epistemology, theology, anthropology, cosmology, and axiology. Moreover it is one of the important factor in creating, preserving, promoting the principles of cognition, tendency, and behavior.
It is necessary to continue and promote piety in order to achieve the basic, intermediate, and ultimate goals.
