The phrases "Rigid Covenant" and "Truth of the truthful ones" are repeated in some verses of the Qur'an; however, until now, a clear view has not been provided regarding the concept, example, and semantic relationship of two of these contemplable topics. Allameh Fazlullah's indirect discussion with Allameh Tabatabaei about verses 7 and 8 of Surah Ahzab is a suitable groundwork for analyzing this interpretation problem. The conversation starts from that where Allameh Tabatabai, by presenting a literary and intellectual analysis of the verse (Ahzab: 8), has tried to show this verse generally, in terms of example, and terms of meaning, in harmony with the previous verse, connotative "Covenant of Zar"; But Allama Fazlullah did not endure the mentioned opinion and in criticizing it, he resorted to some verses of the Qur'an. By presenting this conversation and analyzing and describing the strengths and weaknesses of the views of these two contemporary exegetes, this Research tries, in addition to explaining the Quranic concept of "Rigid Covenant" and "Truth of the truthful ones" based on verbal evidence and Qur'anic principles, to pay attention to the result that the implication of these verses on the "covenant of Zar " and the assignment of "their truth" to the covenant of the prophets is unfinished.
