Undoubtedly, one of the most mysterious stories in the Qur'an is the story of the creation of Adam which has always been the subject of commentators' opinion. Among the key points in this story, the exact decoding of which can have a tremendous impact on the direction of social reforms, is the combination between the order of teaching the names and prostration of the angels and the order of forgetting the covenant and the descent of Adam to earthly life. In this article, organized by the descriptive-analytical method, we aim to compare the thoughts of Rashid Reza as a social reformer in the Sunni world and Allameh Tabatabai as a social reformer in the world by comparing the interpretation of the relevant verses in Al-Manar and Al-Mizan commentaries. The results of this research show that he agrees with Tabataba'i in explaining the truth of angels' prostration, in general, but in matters such as the meaning of caliphate, the truth of angels and their relationship with humans and jinn, the truth of names, the dwelling of Adam in Jennet has different opinions and is subject to criticism. In the matter of descent, although it refers to its multipleness, it does not have a specific explanation regarding these two descents and repentance that took place in the middle of it.
